One Last Kick At The Can
You're probably fed up reading about this non-issue. I know I'm fed up with it too and this will be my last post about these "Danish Cartoons"
And let's not forget, they are cartoons and just that. Their intent was to entertain not to incite. These idiotic Islamic militants burning and pillaging do not reflect the feelings of Muslims around the world.
According to the
Brussels Journal the Danish Imans that brought this issue to it's present state have softened their stance. It seems they just want an apology of sorts from the Danes and all is forgiven. (Sure, do they really think anyone believes that!)
Read the above link, but most important scroll down below the cartoons to read the views of folks that wrote in and/or posted on their blogs.
That's that - not gonna blog about this whole assinine comedy again unless WWIII breaks out and the Allies wear helmets with a patch as shown reminiscent of the Crusades of the eleventh century.
If you remember your schooling, you will recall the Crusades where Christianity took on the Muslims - fortunately for us CNN was not around back then and we aren't forced to sit through hours of bloodletting. Suffice to say, the good folks fighting with the above emblem on their pennants were victorious and the guys in the black cowboy hats were beaten back and soundly whipped. Unfortunately, the Crusades can not be seen as a victory as they only served to widen the gap between Christians and Muslims. Just like today's death and destruction brought on my Islamic terrorists, a lot of people died in vain over religious difference.
Let's hope that the current batch of "bad cowboys" get their act together before another Crusade is brought to bear. Our troops won't be on horseback carrying swords, they'll be dropping a lot of high-powered rounds on Mecca and nobody in their right mind wants that.
